We have several dining and lodging options, depending on your group’s needs.
The Lodge- $35 pp/night
Comfortably housing up to 18 people, this is a completely self-contained building that is perfect for small groups. There are six bedrooms with single and bunk beds, handicapped-accessible bathrooms, a flexible meeting space, kitchen, and a beautiful central stone fireplace. The Lodge also has a large open front porch for your enjoyment.
Cabins- $18 pp/night
We have a total of eight rustic cabins at two separate locations on site. Upper Camp is just a short walk uphill from the center of our property, and Lower Camp is a short walk downhill. Each site has four cabins; a composting toilet; an open air pavilion that is perfect for cookouts and group gatherings; a secure storage building; and a large fire circle. The cabins are furnished with bunk beds and can accommodate up to 44 people total. A bath house with showers is centrally located. The cabins do not have running water or electricity and are not available in winter.
The OEC allows tent camping throughout our facility, including a site with tent platforms. This is a great way for you and your group to enjoy a true wilderness experience. We offer tents to rent, but guests are more than welcome to bring their own as well.
Main Building and Dining Hall- Prices vary depending on use
Our Main Building offers an indoor dining and meeting space large enough for 64 people. There is also limited wireless Internet access available upon request. Our staff offices, kitchen and laundry facilities are also located there. All deliveries are received at the Main Building loading dock.
Dabney Miller Nature Center- Prices vary depending on use
The Dabney Miller Nature Center is where many of our orientations, warm ups, arts, and team building activities take place, especially on rainy days. During the summer time, it is filled with aquariums and other exciting things for people to see and touch. The center was built by and is dedicated to the former director of the Wilderness School, which was the precursor of today’s OEC.
