Risk Management Statement:
All adventure activities offered by FLOC are led by trained staff, following industry guidelines, and are subject to weather cancellations. Our field team includes at least one staff member with advanced wilderness first aid skills and all other staff are American First Aid/CPR & AED certified. All canoeing is done with an American Canoe Association certified staff member and all challenge course activities are led by trained and certified facilitators through Vestal Gap Ventures, LLC. FLOC take all necessary steps to ensure the safety of all participants and maintains quarterly inspection reports. All adventure activities will have a certain level of risk involved and participants should fully understand the risks of such activities. FLOC’s High School Explorers Camp with uses the High Ropes challenge course and participants will be exposed to heights up to 26 feet high.
